Happy New Year!

I am so thrilled and beyond excited to announce that the arrangements for the album are near completion! The overwhelming interest and enthusiasm from all of the arrangers has been phenomenal and I am so grateful to have such talented people sharing their gifts for the album. Allow me to introduce the people who have been working hard to turn my dreams into a reality!

Toni began gearing up to try out for “The X Factor” in September 2010, five months before the first advertisement for the show aired during the 2011 Super Bowl. She started a “vision board” and placed it so that she would see it when she opened her closet door. It was covered in inspirational quotes, a photo of Simon Cowell, photos of herself, song ideas that she continued to add each time one came to her.

“It was a constant reminder, every single morning when I got ready for the day, I would be looking at this vision board,” Toni said. “It said things like, ‘X Factor: You’re going to do it.’ Or ‘X Factor: You’re a star.’ Or something that would put me mentally in the right frame of mind that I was going to be on the show. I was going to do it.”

On Wednesday, the X-Factor NJ/NYC auditions will be shown and fingers crossed, I’ll make the final edit. Hopefully they’ll show my first audition song, Adele’s #1 hit, Someone Like You. Just in case, I decided to make a music video of it this past weekend and utilized the amazing recording skills of my talented husband, Andrew Bove, to make it a reality. The following video was shot late night in Lincoln Center and we recorded the background track earlier in the day- Andy on cimbasso and Andrew Yee on cello.
